About Us

Our Approach

Equanimity Wellness_0082.jpg

We are passionate about physiotherapy, sport and general wellness. Our approach to every person is different; treatments are based solely on the individual and their specific condition.

Our approach to treatment is evidence-based. We are biological, not mechanical; our bodies are robust and can heal with appropriate exercise and load.

Our values and beliefs

  • All pain is real, and your experience is valid

  • Pain is not an accurate measure of injury, but rather a measure of threat (perceived by the nervous system)

  • The tissues in our body respond to load and have the capacity for adaptation (given enough time)

  • A person's story is an integral part of the assessment of their pain

Testimonials

Dawie Mullins

"Grant is amazing! Listens to your problem and gets as much history as possible to understand the injury and pain. His hands are magic and I appreciated that he also included exercises to strengthen my back and to prevent future recurrence. He explains what he does and I would highly recommend him."
